Advancing Efficient and Privacy-Preserving eID Parsing on Mobile Devices: The PhD Student ongoing work
At the crossroads of applied cryptography, cybersecurity, and real-world system deployment lies a fundamental challenge: enabling efficient, secure, and privacy-preserving parsing of electronic identity (eID) documents directly on mobile devices. As digital identity infrastructures scale globally, on-device processing is no longer a convenience—it is a requirement for both performance and trust.
During a six-month research stay at BEAMS Lab (Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium )the PhD researcher, TADMON-YAYA FRANKLIN LENNY from the University Of Bamenda (UBa) Centre for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology, is exploring this problem within a rigorous scientific framework.
The PhD student gratefully acknowledges the contributions and expertise of the Centre for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology (UBa, Bamenda, Cameroon) and BEAMS Lab (Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium) throughout this collaboration.
