Event Description
Highlighting a major step in Post-Quantum Cryptography!
We are proud to recognize Gustave Tchoffo Saah, PhD student at the The University of Bamenda Centre for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology. Currently on a research stay at EXAF-EPFL, participated in PQCrypto (Saint-Malo, France) from 14–16 April 2026—presenting his work alongside Tako Boris Fouotsa (University of Manchester).
Paper title: “SPIDER: A faster and Smaller Identity based Signature from Isogeny”
In this research, they propose a new digital signature scheme based on isogenies. Building on this and the PRISM signature framework, they construct a more compact identity-based signature scheme, with its design rooted in isogeny-based constructions.
Key outcome: a faster and smaller identity-based signature approach compared to existing techniques relying on isogeny group actions.
